LINER NOTES　：　僕らのtonight

カントリーロック的な曲は、僕の歴史の中ではどうも縁が薄いジャンルであったのだけど、ごった煮バンド（参加してるメンバーの音楽的ジャンルが違うが、お友達感覚でとにかく演奏を楽しむ。ライブのセットリストはそれぞれ持ち込むのでまとまりがない—を言う。）に参加していた時に意外と演奏すると楽しいカテゴリーだなと思いそのバンド用に書いた曲だ。オリジナル性にはまったくこだわらず、その辺にありふれた曲調や和音進行・楽器編成でできる曲。

演奏を楽しむならこういう曲がよかったりする。

誰かに誘われて、知らないバンドのLIVEに赴いたとき、全曲オリジナルを演奏されても、まったく理解（のれない・心に入ってこない）できない場合が多いし、かつ、聴きなれた曲をやってもらった方がよい場合がある。

そこが音楽の難しいところ。

音楽は最も良い意味で、比較的新奇を必要としない。むしろ、音楽は古ければ古いほど、人々がそれに慣れているほど、効果的である。

Country-rock songs have always been a genre that I have had little connection with in my history, but I have always enjoyed playing in a stew band (the members of the band are from different musical genres, but enjoy playing together as friends anyway. The set list of the live performance is not coherent because each member brings his/her own set list). I wrote this song for the band because I thought it was a surprisingly fun category to play. I was not concerned with originality at all, and could play this song with common tunes, chord progressions, and instrumentation.

If you enjoy playing, this kind of music is good for you.

When you are invited by someone to a live performance by a band you do not know, you may not be able to understand (or get into) the music at all if they play all original songs.

That is the difficult part of music.

Music, in the best sense of the word, requires relatively little novelty. Rather, the older the music, the more familiar people are with it, the more effective it is.
